Blended Learning: AI in Curriculum Development

As the lead for this project, I designed and executed a blended learning event aimed at aligning curriculum with educational standards and saving curriculum development time. I guided over 20 educators in using ChatGPT to craft learning outcomes, assessments, and lesson plans. Additionally, I developed a comprehensive microlearning module that facilitated idea generation and content refinement. The workshop successfully demonstrated a 50% reduction in lesson planning time and achieved the school administration's goals of aligning school programs with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines across the team.

eLearning: Full Scale High School ESL Course 

As the lead designer for an online ESL course aligned with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines, I managed the ideation, design, and development of a comprehensive learner journey map, course framework, unit and lesson plans, and assessments. This project involved producing and editing eLearning content, including gamified exercises and instructional videos, to ensure end-to-end program delivery. Collaborating with a Subject Matter Expert (SME), I ensured the content was accurate and relevant, resulting in a robust and effective asynchronous learning experience for high school English language learners.

Blended Learning: High School Peer Mentorship Programme

I led the design and development of a training program aimed at helping new students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds adapt to their new environment. The program focuses on preventing misunderstandings and cultural clashes while fostering a strong sense of school community. By collaborating with a SME in social and emotional learning (SEL), I created authentic tasks that simulate mentoring sessions, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience for future mentors. This comprehensive training equips peer mentors with the skills needed to support and guide their mentees effectively.
